We plan products that sell well <Kakihana Brothers>
Unique product planning with plenty of ideas
Our existing products have reached their peak and we want to develop new products.
I want to transition from working on a labor basis to creating a finished product and turning it into a new business.
I want to improve the design and make it a more sellable product.

How to proceed with the project
Phase 1
Help with idea generation
Step One helps you come up with ideas for new products.
Even if you think you have an idea already, it won't be a real idea unless you research it thoroughly.
We will accompany you closely.
First time: Tell me your story.
Second time: Let's come up with some rough ideas together.
Generate ideas through conversation.
3rd session: We will propose a "product proposal" or "product plan" that outlines the direction of development.
Phase 2
Refine your ideas Research
We provide support for market research and patent research for new products.
Market research involves investigating market trends, customers, competitors, distribution channels, etc. using various tools.
Patent research involves examining other strong competitors with similar ideas and providing advice on how to obtain stronger rights.
In this phase, you will decide who will develop the product, who will be the final payment maker (this can be the same person), and the payment process.
・Market research using the web etc. (market trends, users, competitors, distribution channels)
・Feasibility studies ・Patent studies
・Support for creating product concepts ・Support for planning marketing strategies (products, prices, distribution, promotions)
・Development meeting progress management

Phase 3
Refine your ideas
Based on the information collected, we decide what to create tentatively. We then consider what can be adjusted in terms of cost and technical aspects, and consider additional ideas and services that can be added.
As a product concept, we determine the form design and service format based on sketches and CG.
Making things is also about creating experiences.
We give shape to the "story" that will be told to those who will purchase the product.
We live in an age where people buy products based on their "story."
・Rough form design sketch ・Rough sketch

Phase 4
Bring your ideas to life
We will consider the details of the product's direction. Based on the prototype, we will consider materials, manufacturing methods, sales methods and routes.
We supervise the design, planning, renderings, and product design using CG, and then decide on the packaging and naming for sale, identifying the necessary procedures.
We design and plan products based on the product concept, and then refine them by testing them with prototypes.
Step One specializes in products that use plastic, metal, wood, and IoT, and is adept at developing products that are useful to people.
By thinking in one place, we can create and promote products in a consistent manner.
・Materials/Manufacturing method/Sales method/Packaging etc. ・Feasibility of target cost ・Rough sketch
・Rendering (2D, 3D)
・Product graphics ・Conceptual design ・Package design ・Interface design

Phase 5
Design/prototype/productization
We create appropriate models and test items for each item, identify problems, improve the product, and move towards commercialization.
・Housing design ・Mechanism design ・Jig design ・Electrical circuit (hardware, software)
・Reverse engineering
・Working model, mechanism confirmation, prototype ・Design model, appearance confirmation, prototype
・Mass production prototype ・Working model 2: Check the appearance of the mechanism prototype
・To mass production process

Phase 6
Mass production and sales
During mass production, there is a tendency to make "changes to the shape" or "changes to the material" for various reasons, but if the designer is not involved and does not supervise the changes properly, the product will be of low quality.
At the same time as the product is released, we will consider how to connect the product to customers, the sales format, product promotion, and awareness activities in various media.
・Introduction to mass manufacturers ・OEM contracts
・Instruction manual ・Barcode acquisition ・PL insurance, etc.
